Lorna’s Suite
We will never forget Lorna Irvin, aka “Doone,” who owned and operated the Inn as a true passion for many years before passing away in 2018. Lorna was both an accomplished golfer and an accomplished downhill skier. She won the Oakmont Women’s Club Championship twice and was a fixture at the club for many years. She is missed by many, but we honor her memory by turning her former living quarters into our second Suite, which will forever be known as Lorna’s Suite.
Lorna’s Suite features a private, quiet, king-bedded room, a large bathroom with a wonderful shower, a huge walk-in closet, a beautifully furnished living room, and a private patio overlooking the gardens and grounds behind the Inn.
